Your folds.
Your choice.
What is public
Your handle, counts, care level, daily activity status and rank. Choose a handle that does not identify you.
What we store
Event IDs, timestamps and open/close state for eight days, daily totals and check-ins for fifteen days, and your lifetime total until deletion. Device credentials are stored as hashes. Notify connections add a hashed app-specific identity, without name, email or phone number.
For abuse prevention, we retain daily salted hashes of network addresses in short-lived rate-limit buckets. These are pseudonymous technical data. Hosting providers may process connection metadata independently. We do not add advertising or tracking scripts.
Control your data
Use Your connection on the leaderboard to delete your data with your device credential. For a Notify connection, open the app details in Notify and choose Delete my app data. You can also open this page in Notify and choose Use my Notify identity under Your connection. A Notify connection expires after 30 days and can be renewed. A native HTTP credential remains valid until deletion. Disconnecting Notify removes the device connection, not the leaderboard record.
Fair play
Every open and close counts once. Duplicate triggers are suppressed. The limit is 60 events per rolling minute and 2,000 per UTC day. These are self-reported events, not hardware-verified records.
Fewer folds rank higher. Every ranking view requires an authenticated check-in today, so inactive profiles do not win with zero. The separate check-in action adds no folds. Sending folds also checks you in. Reading a public profile or a widget does not. Care levels describe today’s folds: level 3 for zero, level 2 for one to four, level 1 for five or more. These are app groupings, not estimates of screen life. Rankings use UTC so everyone shares the same day. Seven-day rankings include today and the previous six UTC days. Equal scores share a rank.
